Iran is the First Country in the World, which produces CNG-Motors in Mass-Production for the new iranian Car SOREN (new samand), made by Iranian OEM Irankhodro.


Iranian President ,in a ceremony by the end of february, opened the mass productionline of the "National Motor" (Motore Melli). In the First year 100 000 units will be produced, the capacity of production is for 450 000 units per year

By the end of 2010 over 1 Mio CNG-Cars will replace Gasoline Cars in Iran.

With this step, Iran has now a fully autark automotive industry.
